nib - The Checkup
Content Marketing Platform, User Testing
nib Health Funds approached us to design and develop a new initiative helping nib to grow brand awareness and increase engagement through educating on all things health insurance, healthy living and community care.
A competitor analysis was conducted by Mudbath to compile a list of pros and cons that should be used as a foundation for the content hub project.
Proto Personas help us design and cater for all our users. In the discovery workshop we identified 3 personas.
Based on the workshop activities we developed a testable protoype which we could use as the basis for testing the concept, layout and usability.
Usertesting is always a big part of what we do at Mudbath Digital, it ensures we make the most usable designs we can. For nib we conducted 6 formal user testing sessions with outside participants who fit the persona model. Participants were asked to complete several tasks and asked to review the Ease-Of-Use after each task.
The results of the user testing sessions and participant surveys we’re collated and used to refine the design and user experience of The Checkup.
nib have an established brand and style guide, we worked closely with their team to extend it further with new layout, grid and a category specific visual language. The result is beautiful, clean and easy to read, it is a natural extension of their current website.
